I believe the CEO is kind and means well. But he needs a mentor and coach. He's a bit too light on the core tenets of management. The propensity to unknowingly (?) throw people under the bus was a bit too much to take for me. Having worked with/for some true titans in tech I can say that this feels like a bit of insecurity and lack of training vs. any sinister, controlling intent. Still, for those transgressed, it makes them leave. I did.
