I love abt but wish they valued their junior staff as much as we feel we contribute to the company. Feels like such a trade off in salary to get to work in this specific research field and get work experience.

Better actual guidance of junior staff. Very sink or swim

Exploring my early career in a variety of interesting, and personally meaningful work where I can learn as much as possible
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Starting salary is low for the industry In entry - mid level jobs. Room for growth and interesting work if you are able to find your research niche and prove your value.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Very cool to work with people in numerous time zones and such varied research backgrounds. As junior staff, it feels like a melding together of scientists and experts and a great learning opportunity to contribute to meaning work
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Flexibility. Even pre pandemic the ability to work from home and at your own hours is great. Helps if you have a team of many timezones and can align your schedules. Just introduced ability to flex your work hours over the 2 week pay period. So 80hrs over 2 weeks not 40 over 1
