Specific and clear vision is required. Leadership team should be visionary with mentoring capacity.
Training, communication, pay and benefits, and recognition of employee contributions. Employees are either treated with disrespect or ignored. Negative, toxic environment makes work environment practically intolerable.
I like my department's executive, but my manager does not even talk to me. I'm on my own to manage my project schedule and estimated projections
The leadership need to be trained on Abt Values regarding Performance Goals, giving clear Team Objectives, and communication with team members, accepting feedbacks and allowing rules to be respected.

Very standard package. Dental, Vision, transportation stipend. Very good education benefits. I get a week of Learning hours every year, and they cover tuition if you want to take a course somewhere.
The same grade staffs are getting different types of compensation which is not acceptable. There is very few benefit other than salary. 100% taxable income. Small scope to negotiate the benefits.

Nice building. There are groups to join for black and lgbtqia employees that organize events
The most positive is the references we have, that we try to follow. We also have a friendly and flexible work schedule.
Flexibility. Even pre pandemic the ability to work from home and at your own hours is great. Helps if you have a team of many timezones and can align your schedules. Just introduced ability to flex your work hours over the 2 week pay period. So 80hrs over 2 weeks not 40 over 1
More inclusive and exclusive participation from all employees
Supervisor should be subject matter expert. Eliminate the importance on one man in decision making. Respect to staffs comments. Create a positive environment. Stop blaming others and spying.

Flexibility in schedule. I am very productive at night and am able adjust hours to sleep in later in the morning
