Training, communication, pay and benefits, and recognition of employee contributions. Employees are either treated with disrespect or ignored. Negative, toxic environment makes work environment practically intolerable.

The leadership need to be trained on Abt Values regarding Performance Goals, giving clear Team Objectives, and communication with team members, accepting feedbacks and allowing rules to be respected.
Better actual guidance of junior staff. Very sink or swim
Too many directors, not enough staff actually doing the work. Stop laying off experienced staff just to create more useless director positions.
