I joined BDO 3 months ago in the Advisory service line. I really like working here. I am encouraged by the leadership, and I really appreciate the personal touches that have been done to make my integration into the company a positive experience.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
In my service line, the leadership is very supportive, visionary, and encouraging. They make me feel welcome and wanted.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
There are multiple additional benefits that are offered through BDO that I have never seen in other companies. Examples: Cancer Screening, Pet Insurance, Identity Theft Protection, etc.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people are nice. We have a feedback rich environment. I feel valued. I have people asking for my knowledge and skills to be shared in their team / on their projects.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is located all over the US but they come together remotely on a very frequent basis to make sure everyone is included and up to speed on projects. We have fun while having structure.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked the casualness of the discussions within my interviews. I did 3 separate individual interviews with different leaders. I was able to get a really great feeling about the team I would be working with and the overall company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I have a lot of positive interactions with people remotely since I joined in the middle of the pandemic. There are a lot of people who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and integrate me into the company.
