Leadership is more about driving technology change and is forgetting about its people in the process. I as well as many others are drained from the demanding work that BDO puts on its employees.

Management is way below B4 and lack organization. Internal training is way below you see in other firms. The firm can be used as temporary shelter not for long term career.

Partners are always bragging about record profits but wages don’t seem to be going up fast enou

The average pay increase/year in the U.S. is 3-5%. My pay has increased by 2% over three years, yet my performance has been consistently rated as excellent. That's why I feel undervalued. I would feel better about my compensation if my hard work was rewarded with a proportionate increase in pay.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
You get to work with a variety of teams
Colleagues that support one another.
Work from home for now
I have a lot of positive interactions with people remotely since I joined in the middle of the pandemic. There are a lot of people who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and integrate me into the company.
Our team (including the managers) foster and environment of patience, mutual support, and respect.

Management needs to listen and to understand the staff’s grievance
Invest in current staff more and provide necessary incentive to work hard

It felt more like a laid back conversation. Not technical at all

I liked the casualness of the discussions within my interviews. I did 3 separate individual interviews with different leaders. I was able to get a really great feeling about the team I would be working with and the overall company.
