I have lost everything that I love and care for. I put my entire life behind me and gave everything. I helped create the RDS industry, and I have now watched these people destroy it in the worst possible way. I wish I would have been brave enough to walk away, post buyout, but I didn't.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The entire Bitesquad culture was sold to me as a very upbeat and positive one, that offered many benefits and a long future with the company.
What makes you most happy at work?
It is sad, but even the slightest compliment from the CEO or his cohorts becomes the only thing that keeps you going. Very similar to a hostage facing death, even the smallest gesture gives you some hope for the future.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
This company has taken everything that I loved about a great industry and ruined it through pure greed. If they paid even REMOTELY what was market average that would only be the very beginning of what would need to change.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
They should start by introducing a clear work/life balance, to allow people to be with their families. Working 80+ hours a week should not be allowed. Some sort of REAL Human Resources person, with the ability to enact some abuse prevention.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Complete lack of human empathy from upper management, and a sociopath CEO. This company is everything people hate about "corporate culture." Expect to NEVER see your family. Expect to NEVER be off work, because you will get calls and emails all night that are expected to be responded to instantly
