While the work was easy and interacting with the customers makes you feel accomplished the relationship between the workers and leadership team is pathetic. When the leadership does something they're not supposed to they are quick to blame it on others, that is not leadership.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team does not encourage or motivate one another. The leadership team wants others to act as their subordinates so that they can take their commission sales. This team should not be allowed to manage others.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with the guests at work is the best thing about the day because you are able to help guests feel confident with themselves and their body. A happy customer makes me feel accomplished at my job.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
People need to motivate each other. The more people are uplifted and encouraged the more likely they'll sell meaning the store will make more money as well. By being negative the store does not have a comfortable atmosphere.
What are some of the best things about your team?
While the team hardly works together to help a single customer out (because they won't receive commission) they are helpful in helping clean up other peoples sections to get home for the day. Otherwise the store is a battlefield for associates.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview was quick and to the point. There was no second meeting you just met with the general manager he asked a few questions and that was it. There should be nothing to worry about if you are able to converse.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The best thing the Buckle Inc. has to offer is the discount on clothes for those working for the company. The store hardly has promotions so it is a great thing to have if you're looking to stock up your closet with new clothes.
