The owner of the franchise only cares about money and continues to put an unsafe number of dogs in the facility when we don't have room, and then we have to hire more people very fast, most of which are unexperienced and the dogs end up suffering. There are way too many dogs here right now.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Management needs to stop treating people below them like children, as some of them are even more qualified than them, and they need to hear out the concerns. I also think the owner needs to stop being so greedy and think of the safety of the dogs and their employees
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was pretty straight forward and easy, they will basically hire anyone because the turnover rate is so high, I've been working here 3 years and seen over 50 people come and go. However, I think the interview process did not give me an accurate idea of what my job would entail
