People are the best asset of CK, they are humble, empathetic, helpful and smart. The company values helpfulness and empathy, and considers them as factors in promotions and other awards.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Empathy and openness in communication. When the times were tough, they stood by each and every one of us, shuffling resources into other teams rather than laying them off to cut expenses.
What makes you most happy at work?
No matter what level or role you're at, the work is impactful and you get to be an owner for your piece.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As compared to other tech companies, Credit Karma falls a little short of comparable companies, even our new parent company. Non-engineering roles are seriously deprioritized in the compensation equation.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Stop asking LeetCode questions, start asking questions that are relevant to the job.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Not over-assume and contribute more to the facilitation of business deliverables while accounting operational realities.
