The leadership is terrible at Etsy. Josh Silverman is a talented CEO but he filled his team out with a crew of yes-men and angry, cliquey outcasts. I've never worked somewhere where my team leader was so widely disliked and disrespected throughout the company

The excitement of a fast paced environment

No premiums on health insurance is a fantastic benefit and the equity is great.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is a lot of great energy from a younger workforce that really wants to make a difference in people's lives
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Some of my colleagues are just not that good. This is not a company that hired the best and the brightest
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Recognizing people for their contributions to the business rather than their relationship from prior jobs. Walking the walk and letting people truly contribute and share differing perspectives.
