If you do outstanding work they will thank you and say it does not go unnoticed, but when it comes time for incentives or a pay raise, they are non-existent. I've even been told that a raise outside of the cost of living raise, which was $0.42 last year, is not possible.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I get to work from home, and as long as I keep my numbers up I am not micromanaged.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Certain people in my department simply DESERVE a pay raise due to the quality of work. It is demoralizing to know that is not a possibility. Provide customer service with incentives to do good work .Quarterly bonus would be nice. Create a QA position and hire from within. We need QC. Revamp CS.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The work quality is poor. The training is not comprehensive. Many have been here for years and it is clear they do not care about their job other than the paycheck. Management has been sent several examples of this lack of care, but it is more important to have a warm body than it is to fire someone
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Merit based pay is not offered. There is only a small cost of living raise, and I've been told point blank that there is no other way to get a raise. Any move that changes your email signature job title should come with a pay raise. CS gets no incentives at all to do anything above the minimum.
