My least favorite place to work in my professional career. Most are moody, and territorial ; And I've slowly become this way too. The work itself is interesting, and always busy. But the attitude, lack of advancement, and lower pay is driving me to seek other employment.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Some laughs and occasional comradery, But more are unfriendly.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
People are overworked and underpaid. The company is top heavy; improve the manager to employee ratio Employees have little incentive to work better or improve. Some layoffs are not necessary; re-purposing roles maybe better instead.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
- Some new hires get payed more to do less. - Consistent increase in responsibility, with minor pay increases. - Promoting within is Rare; Offer more promotions to the qualified employees. HR & Management should assess salary per position each year to ensure competitive pay.
