I have a long tenure with the company mostly for personal reasons. It has not been the work or opportunities, as a woman it made sense for the location and stability. The company has historically done a bad job with communication and recognition. Things are done to check a box not for real change

communication has improved but it's after the fact. what was done not why

accountability to quality of work performed. individual contributors do not see the big picture or the value they add. Mostly because of leadership
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The work environment does not recognize individuals as the contributors to our success all the recognition goes to the executive team that is grossly male dominated, unprofessional and overcompensated financially.
