One of the most fun and fulfilling jobs i've had in my career. There is very little red tape or limitations to personal success, I feel like I have a seat at the table and am a factor in decision making for the business. There is a high level of respect across the board. It's very fast paced.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
My base salary is good. Access to good healthcare is good (i pay supplementary costs though).
What are some of the best things about your team?
Smart, proactive, passionate about the games and the work, collaborative. Not scared to make big swings but also kind and empathetic along the way.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
transparency of data, very little politics in the central office, everything is a learning experience rather than a blame game / witch hunt. Overall there is great camaraderie and humor between almost all employees, managers and executives.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Personable, accessible, great listeners, ambitious yet realistic. Not scared to allow changes to process in order to improve performance + employee fulfillment. They direct + lead rather than micromanage, yet they still have their finger on the pulse of how each game is performing.
What makes you most happy at work?
that there is always something new to learn. There is never a dull moment, but there is also perspective in terms of nothing being life or death - so there is no real anxiety or stress when I think about work. That combined with team camaraderie makes me happy in my role.
