Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Kyruus is a place where you can make a career. The opportunities are there waiting for ambition to seize it. We have complicated problems to solve and many open hats in storage.

Working with my brilliant team members.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Inclusiveness. We value everyone's ideas.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Good intentions, but poor execution. Transparency has been a huge miss since late 2020. Poor executive decisions with unclear justifications across the board.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate the transparency in the direction the company is heading. I may not always agree with the decisions, but I at least understand the reasoning behind them.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is extremely collaborative and receptive to change. We are often trying new things to stay the best team at Kyruus and will innovate engineering changes as needed.
What makes you most happy at work?
Opportunity to make impact. We help our customers (Hospitals, Health Orgs) solve real problems. Every single interaction we have lays out a chance to positively affect a patient's experience in obtaining care.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Salary does not match market rates. When taking into account the amount of hours worked, it's even worse. Not all teams see eye to eye in the startup hustle culture, which leads some (key employees) people burnt out.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My director encourages me to work harder with no pressure. The opportunity to improve yourself is there. And when you do something great, you get noticed, and you get noticed by everyone. There's not many people in the company, the opportunity to drive impact is great.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our CEO said something to us during onboarding many moons ago and it's stuck with me since day 1: "We don't hire jerks." Everyone here genuinely cares. I can't think of a team member on another team that didn't go out of their way to help me when I have questions.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We receive a quarterly stipend of $500 to spend on whatever we may need. The list is pretty comprehensive so it's nice to have this extra cushion for things ranging from tech to child care. It may not seem like much, but it was given to us without anyone asking, which says a lot.
