I have personally watched the CEO shout at hourly employees because he did not get his food when he wanted it. Nevermind that it comes from across the stadium, he doesnt pay for it, and has left literally $0 tip on thousand dollar checks. It's a white boys club with no care for their employees.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was a while ago with a very different team.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The coworkers are lovley and hardworking. The leadership team has much to be desired.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Positive? The hourly staff that try. They're often snuffed out after a while by poor managers and pay though.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working as a team despite one's job title. A leader shiuld never be too above-it to do the work that needs to be done to help their team. Whether it's liaisoning with clients or running food and beverage. They're there to help.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Diversify, if you look on their leadership team online there is not one black person. Also, tip for your free food and beverage. We live on our tips because the minimum wage or barely above minimum wage is not a living wage.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
People pay hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars per suite and there is a 24% admin fee that does not go to employees that provide the service. If someone can pay 7 figures for a suite, a standard appropriate gratuity can be afforded.
