Again, profit and minimizing expense is the only goal. Regional pay scales for skilled journeymen positions should be comparable. They are constantly working towards eliminating the union representation and diluting the skilled trades to non-apprenticeship on site training. Understaffed.
We are constantly under staffed as Management thinks that paying overtime for coverage saves them money. Then they hire un-qualified people because they are the only ones that will take the massive pay cut to come to Utah. My co-workers are very good to work with.
What the company says in public is the opposite of what happens on the ground. They claim and are required by law to a reliable, reasonably priced electricity as a regulated monopoly. The reality of the production level is no maintenance, no replacement of equipment until failure. No reliability
