My favorite thing is my customers. My Manager does not make a welcoming atmosphere especially if you aren't a favorite. Makes employees feel invaluable and stupid.

Stop the disrespect. All get on the same page and follow rules
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The main boss is a bully. Takes advantage of employees, allows disrespect, and does not hold everyone to same standard. He and main managers need sensitivity training.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to their department managers. Have same standards for everyone. Don't be so obvious about favorite employees. Make the employees feel valued. Say thank you once in a while.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Because I am treated like my opinion doesn't matter even with my own department. The disrespect from main boss is bad. Boss has the he's always right attitude and you're always wrong. I have many many years management experience and the low pay is atrocious.
