the Owner/CEO is very deceitful when it comes to paying contractors. Long history of not paying invoice on time, and use the unpaid balance as the perpetuate bait, by routinely paying only half the amount owed, in order to keep people working for him (while HE get paid handsomely by his investors).
The promised compensation rate is quite adequate. The problem is the owner/CEO routinely stiff employees/contractors, so in the end, the overall rate is terrible when considered as a whole.
Nothing can be done as long as the owner/CEO is still there.
