TutorDudes has been a positive place where I have been able to learn and grow. I feel that I am given tasks that reinforce my strengths and challenge my weaknesses.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I have not had the opportunity to work closely with other interns.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that Arya is always responds to concerns in a timely manner. I also appreciate that I get a lot of feedback on my assignments.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I think my case differed from most in that I did not undergo an extensive interview process. I only participated in a phone screening before receiving an offer.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am most happy to have the opportunity to be creative in a way that a typical classroom setting does not allow. Our assignments challenge us and encourage growth.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive aspect of our company culture is that we are not discouraged from making mistakes. There is no pressure to be perfect but rather to always learn something new.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
This is an unpaid internship which I was aware of when I applied and eventually accepted an offer. I appreciate the experience I am gaining but I am forced to seek out other forms of compensation.
