It has two business models: in the Local business, it hires its equipment to customers, who then operate it for themselves, although the Company retains responsibility for servicing and maintaining it. In the International Power Projects business, the company operates as a power producer. The Company installs and operates power plants and it charges its customers both for providing the generating capacity, and for the electricity it produces. The Company does this on a global basis, with 148 service centres and offices in 34 countries. The Company has global reach through an international network of service centres and offices spanning Europe, North, Central & South America, as well as the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australasia.
