I love that my job is never boring. We're always building something new and big, and the work is always challenging enough to keep it exciting, but usually not so challenging that it becomes frustrating.

We laughed the whole time! The people I interviewed with were engaging, funny, and sincere. I didn't feel like I was being grilled, I felt like we were just having a fun conversation about our field to see where our expectations aligned with each other.

The work-life balance. Could I make more working at Google or something? Sure. But I work from home at a rate of 30 billable hours per week, with very rare overtime and well-protected time off. They also provide a generous annual education budget and a tech expense account.

Our team is very harmonious. Management has done a good job of choosing people who mesh well together, and the people I work with are people I enjoy going on retreats with and building sites with. I learn a lot from my colleagues, as we're encouraged to collaborate and exchange ideas freely.

I love that our leadership team genuinely thinks of us as human beings instead of just "resources". They care about us as people, and treat us that way. We're given a lot of freedom, trust, and compassion as employees, and intentionally honoring that is a very intentional thing on their part.

Lullabot has a culture of caring; it's like a family that happens to build websites. As a company, we love each other - people travel all over the world to visit each other in their homes. There's a lot of candid communication. I can tell our CEO exactly what I think, and he cares about hearing it.
