What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are consistently seeking ways to improve and better the company. The company is in great hands.
The leadership team is very open -- it doesn't feel like a top-down company. Rather than employees feeling like resources that leadership wrings labor out of, the dynamic feels more like the leadership team's primary purpose is to support the rest of the team to enable them to do their best work.
Leadership is continually responsive to the needs of the group and I have every trust that they will help us navigate through the next phase of growth at the company.
They are transparent, honest, and humble.
They are thoughtful andopen to suggestions, they think long-term about the future of the company and our individual teammates

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I have a great work-life balance and my total compensation package takes care of me and my family's needs.
Working from home with flexible hours lets me accomplish more in my personal life than otherwise would ever be possible.
We have medical, dental, 401K, ESOP, and generous education and PTO benefits. The company treats humans as humans and allocates for flexibility. I personally feel I am able to do my best work.
The company is a 100% ESOP.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Lullabot company culture is like no other. Considering that we're a distributed company, we're extremely close-knit. We visit each other's homes, celebrate life's triumphs and mourn losses together, and are actively in each other's lives outside of just a work capacity.
You will not find a more competent, professional, kind group of people.
Things get done. You wake up one day and someone has done something that makes your work easier to do.
As a remote company, we have had to learn how to communicate effectively, I think even more so than in an in-person company. The mechanisms we have are working well and we continue to evolve to meet the changing needs. Post-COVID-19 and beyond, I'm confident in the leadership team & my coworkers.
Kind people who genuinely care for each other.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The prevailing spirit of Lullabot is kindness. Leadership is exceptionally empathetic and truly considers the impact of their actions on the people who work there. No one brings a business facade to work - we're just ourselves and we're friends.

People are transparent and don't hide their vulnerability.

What did you like most about the interview process?
It's just a conversation with your potential manager and colleagues.
They asked questions that would help identify if we were a good culture fit.

I liked how personable the interviewers were. I also liked having a (paid) trial project, so I could see an example of how we would work together, and was not expected to do it pro bono.
There was one person who was in all the calls. Good for consistency and safety.

What makes you most happy at work?
I get to do my best work.
Hanging out with my coworkers! They're just fun to spend time with.
Being able to implement effective solutions for some of the biggest brands, working with great colleagues, and the ongoing commitment to training, education, and supporting the open source community.
The daily challenges that it demands.
Working with my colleagues is the thing I look most forward to each day.
