I have had a very positive experience working at BHSG. The work is demanding but very personally and financially rewarding. BHSG appreciates all of their employees and does many things throughout the year to show that. Quarterly team building events, annual Holiday party in Boston. To name a few

Actually listening to the needs of their employees and not just pushing metrics for the sake of metrics. Our team is incredibly dedicated, motivated, gritty, and genuinely kind, but leadership is pushing us to operate at a pace that is unsustainable. Everyone is burnt out.

There needs to be much better communication and transparency from the top down. Lower levels employees often have no idea what is going on with the company until management needs them to fix issues that have been put off for months, sometimes years.

Organization with sales leadership is honestly the worst I've seen in 10 years of my career. Great personalities but sometimes clueless as to what is going on in the field....8 out of 10 times.

I'm paid a fair salary and commission based on my performance. If I work harder and reach goals I earn additional compensation. BHSG is privately held so the only perk I don't get is company stock or equity.

A higher base salary would be better. Even if the commission structure was changed. It would be better with our volatile economy to have more security in a higher base salary.

No 401k match is absolutely outrageous, no company perks with meals, no car stipend for sales people who travel often and basically the company is cheap overall. Base salaries are low and even commission structures are low.

I wish the base salary was higher. In a difficult job market, commission is unreliable at times. Having a higher base would make me feel much more financially secure. I make a decent living with commission but without I struggle.

The office environment can be a little boring and toxic at times. Every team has different rules (some are remote and others are not). Some teams make certain employees come in and others are able to stay remote. The lack of consistency between teams and managers can be disappointing.

I am judged by my coworkers for coming in and doing my work 8-5 (plus extra hours - as we are pushed to work but that isn't shared in interviews) and for not drinking. The only time coworkers hangout is when alcohol is also invited

The expectation is to massively over-achieve at all times. Having just an average week is unacceptable - despite the state of the nation and other things that could limit someone from being a constant over-achiever.
