Mixed. My day-to-day with direct coworkers is exceptionally good. The on-the-door sales training often sounds like explicit anti-consent training by and for college-age men. I feel good about installing solar and I love my construction teammates. I am conflicted about company as whole.

The construction leadership team is genuinely enthusiastic and cares about their team members as people. They take pride in their work and strive towards excellence while creating a supportive environment that actively encourages learning.

My teammates 110% have my back. We care about each other as full people, challenge each other to grow and improve at our work, make work fun, and never leave anyone stuck late on a nasty job without jumping in to help them.

The compensation package is extremely lackluster, perhaps because the company is quite young (although there seems to be plenty of money for other things). No retirement, bare bones health coverage, no parental leave to my knowledge. Lots of company wide holidays, not much individual PTO.

Good: Culture supports positivity, learning and growth at all levels. Bad: On-the-door sales team is trained to utterly disregard homeowner boundaries and consent. Bad look for college age men. Company has huge ego and may struggle to admit (and attend) to its failings. Also perfectionism prevalent.
