What is the PTO policy at PayScale?
I have to disagree with the other poster below. I've worked here almost 6 years and never felt I couldn't use the unlimited PTO policy. I also previously managed a team and actively reviewed PTO for each of my employees to make sure that they "frequent users" weren't abusing it and those who weren't taking time off at all actually started using it.
“Unlimited.” Translation, you won’t take the vacation you need, you’ll watch others abuse it, and you won’t be paid out when you leave.
What should I wear for an interview at PayScale?
Business casual

What benefits does PayScale provide?
Health, dental, “unlimited” PTO that is unfairly used. Some really abuse the PTO, others are punished for taking PTO. They also promote a flexible work environment, but this is also not fairly extended to all employees. Many people are not allowed to work from home.
What is the dress code at PayScale?
Casual Casual. Officially, the dress code is that there is no dress code. There are boundaries to that that only few have pushed.

Awesome. Full medical dental vision covered 100% paid by company.

Flexibility. Its culturally encouraged to take a short day or a long weekend for family, medical, self care. Internal support of physical & mental wellness is abundant.

Very secure. The company is in a good position going forward and though not growing rapidly now, I foresee more growth and with that opportunity over the next three years.
How flexible is your work schedule at PayScale?
Extremely, work from home when you need to (engineering) and set your own schedule. There are core hours but your manager will work with you if you need it.

Awesome. PayScale strives to make sure work doesn't interfere with you home life. Family valued company.
