receiving equity as every tech company does, even for lowest level FTEs. not receiving equity in a startup these days is unheard of especially in a role that directly impacts leadership and their ability to do their job well

As we transition from restaurant to platform we are beginning to bring in people from other industries. Restaurants/food service is among the lowest paying industries and tech is among the highest and this disconnect isn't accepted yet. I'd feel better if my base came up significantly.

The work load across teams is not equal. There are some extremely fleshed out teams working a lot less hours than other teams who have to work 60 hour weeks to do the minimum required for their role

We have brought in a lot of new talent and I am not confident in the compensation calibration that has occurred to evaluate existing talent. There is a lack of clarity on salary bands and potential in role, and how to achieve getting a raise.

I would feel more valued if I wasn't told that our team could only get the minimum increase for annual raises because of the budget when spot bonuses and all different types of monetary awards are provided unequally across the company.

Yes, I've been at sweetgreen for a long time (5 years). I am aware of other manager's salaries and they are MUCH more than what I make. I think it would be fair for me to at least be within the manager salary range (~10K more than I currently make)

compensation is completely arbitrarily determined. the sweetgreen when I started didn't know what they were doing, but now there are many discrepancies in pay bands.

i don't feel there is anyone regulating or overseeing treehouse comp. new hires are coming in at high pay, and hiring managers are not negotiating since they don't have guardrails. new people, especially people hired in past 6ish months, dictate their salaries and end up being paid more than peers

I am undervalued compared to market and this was brought to the attention of my leadership team. My leadership team shared my response with HR and they felt my salary was in line with the rest of my department. I would feel better about my compensation if I was valued properly as an indivdual.
