No where near market in the semiconductor industry. Being the top and largest EDA/Semiconductor company in the world, I expect the compensation to be reflecting the same. We are not even close to Tier 2 semiconductor companies with respect to compensation.

I think the new OKR system may help out. Previous evaluations have been based on more subjective rather than objective analysis. Synopsys has not kept up with the cost of living. I have to work remotely since Synopsys chose to close my two offices. I am skeptical that other companies are better.
