Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

No where near market in the semiconductor industry. Being the top and largest EDA/Semiconductor company in the world, I expect the compensation to be reflecting the same. We are not even close to Tier 2 semiconductor companies with respect to compensation.

Year on year hikes are always less and there is always some or the other reason to support the same. But the company never ever think on the needs of the employee. Better hikes and making sure employees at the ground level receive the perks of the company achievements

I think the new OKR system may help out. Previous evaluations have been based on more subjective rather than objective analysis. Synopsys has not kept up with the cost of living. I have to work remotely since Synopsys chose to close my two offices. I am skeptical that other companies are better.
