Built has a lot of perceived benefits (flexible schedule, unlimited time off, Friday lunches), but the overall atmosphere is tense at best, toxic at worst. Even though we have the ability to take time off or work from home, you are judged for doing so. A good environment for those who live for work!

Communication, defining expectations, listening to employees needs and concerns, and taking the idea of a positive culture beyond lipservice.

The people I interviewed with were easy to talk to and seemed genuine in their responses to my questions.

The employees as individuals are smart, friendly, and kind. They are eager to learn as well as to teach others, and they enjoy sharing their lives with each other.

There are a lot of really smart, fun, and kind people at this company. What is a shame is that they often feel overwhelmed or overlooked and end up leaving due to the negative culture perpetrated by leadership.
Pourquoi vous sentez-vous sous-évalué et qu’est-ce qui vous rassurerait par rapport à votre rémunération?
Leadership does not value any of its employees, they treat them as a means to an end. Listening to what employees actually want and need out of their workplace would do wonders, and so would valuing employee contributions, regardless of whether or not its just considered "doing their job."
Qu’est-ce qui ne va pas et comment cela peut-il être amélioré?
Culture is an idea at Built, not a practice. It's clear that the CEO - and therefore his direct team - cares more about the business than the people making it work. It's very much a "your salary is your recognition" environment, which works for some people, but not for all, by far.
