I have used the word 'supportive' a lot so far, but that really does describe it. They always confirm receipt of work and emails, I get feedback on my work and they provided a style guide to help me with future translation projects. This is clearly a company investing in its suppliers.

The company values its freelance suppliers. For example, when I asked for an extension on my sample test when i was applying as a freelancer, they were very understanding and supportive.

The support. I got prompt replies to my emails and feedback on the translation I supplied. I also received what amounts to a style guide for future translations the company assigns to me.

I'm a freelancer for Day Translations, translating for a US company while based in London. I have had nothing but prompt and solid communication and unwavering support from the team, be it feedback on the translation I provided or invoice advice.

Effective communication from the team, whether from the recruitment team (when emailing an updated CV), the project manager (when a translation is outsourced to me, and when I get confirmation that they have received it in one piece) or the finance team (when an invoice is being processed).

It was more an application process involving a sample translation test. I asked for an extension on this, which was approved without hesitation. The test was a fair one- as well as the sample text, I received a list of company values which helped me to tailor my answer to the demands of the company.
