Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If they don't lie about refunding the clients without first asking the freelancers or giving them a chance to fix the issue.

It takes a lot of education and experience and skills to be a good interpreter and translator, but, all that not taken into consideration when it comes to the pay rates. Raise the pay rates and appreciate the talents.

It was more an application process involving a sample translation test. I asked for an extension on this, which was approved without hesitation. The test was a fair one- as well as the sample text, I received a list of company values which helped me to tailor my answer to the demands of the company.

Effective communication from the team, whether from the recruitment team (when emailing an updated CV), the project manager (when a translation is outsourced to me, and when I get confirmation that they have received it in one piece) or the finance team (when an invoice is being processed).

The opportunity to meet and help new people. I love to dress up professionally and go to my out of the house assignments when they come. I work predominantly from home OPI so when Day Translations in person assignments come, I am prepared, dressed and excited!
