The pay gap is too large and no one is addressing or retaining talented people. You can hire someone with a 100% hike but not ready to pay a 50% hike to the current employee to retain.
In the name of the market correction, an entire year is wasted and no appreciation from anyone to complete a number of years here. Compensation is below market and I don't think I would get a good hike in the appraisal cycle because of the so-called market correction. Going to resign soon.
