GXO Logistics Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Strives for excellence and best-in-class

Review from HR Dept

I love the energy and motivation they transmit and their clear vision on what and how to do it anytime.

Very open to ideas, listen to opinions and value it, very eager to make things better, always ready to help and look to involve team members into new projects and process so they learn and grow more

Review from HR Dept

The team is open and transparent and supportive of on-going growth and development of the GXO teams.

Review from HR Dept

approachable, flat structure know you as a person instead of just your role.

Review from HR Dept

Personable, grateful for the people that work at GXO. Take time out to know individuals and their stories. Put people first.

Review from HR Dept

All are passionate for the success of GXO

Review from HR Dept

Regular information cascade (e.g., townhalls) makes me feel aware and informed about current business activity. If I have questions for further information about any of these communications, I would feel comfortable reaching out to my line manager and that my comments would be positively received.

Review from HR Dept

Their commitment to attending virtual meetings so they are visible.

Review from HR Dept

Very approachable and willing to listen

Review from Executive Dept

How they set the ambition of the company

Review from Executive Dept

Review from Sales Dept

Review from HR Dept

Regular comms is great and the diversity of the group

Review from HR Dept

Accessible, action-oriented, deliver results at pace.

Review from Legal Dept

They care about you, there is not much micromanaging going on. There is always room for professional development and growth within the organization, leadership will put you in positions to showcase your knowledge and skills.

Review from HR Dept

its cooperation, sense of values and professional skills

Review from HR Dept

I like their commitment to communicate our goals as a team.

Review from HR Dept

That they clearly appreciate all member of the GXO team. Leadership by collaboration!

Review from HR Dept

Less short term, more long term view / strategy

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

To stop presure only based on financials short terms results,

Review from Operations Dept

They avoid the conversation of getting a raise. They still think inflation is a myth. They are not doing anything to keep up with the wages other companies are offering.

Review from HR Dept

Focus on employee retention not hiring new executives.

Review from HR Dept

choosing leaders for teams ..

Review from HR Dept

The executive needs to be alinged on who GXO is, the overall business structure and direction of the company past the next 2 months. The executives leadership team causes unnecessary chaos in the regions and layers below due to their lack of alignment - especially in HR and IT.

Review from HR Dept

listen the suggestion, listen the employee voice, trust his team member

Review from HR Dept

Communicating effectively, set realistic timelines, reward employees better, realise employee's worth strive for them to be paid in parity to counterparts.

Review from HR Dept

Understanding how their policies impact the people that have to abide by them. The new travel policy specifically.

Review from HR Dept

Create a space to hear the voice of everyone. Make employees feel like they matter, not just through annual merit cycle that is a given but by identifying and nurturing talent. Create programs and opportunities not just in North America but in smaller teams like in India.

Review from HR Dept

They need to show more respect.

Review from Operations Dept

The ticket system is very slowly and there is no clear resolution. Same cases resolved different way, which make you feel confused. Training is not enough. Covering different roles from your level to management level and salary doesn't change. No clear responsibilities within the team.

Review from HR Dept

Understand people better, it is a very tough market, and we should be investing in people not just the skills. You do feel like a number and there is very little emotional intelligence applied to our day-to-day work life.

Review from HR Dept

Showing that they care and provide clear direction

Review from HR Dept

The pay gap is too large and no one is addressing or retaining talented people. You can hire someone with a 100% hike but not ready to pay a 50% hike to the current employee to retain.
