  • While I was at Harman, I worked in software test. What I noticed is that interns being brought onto the team were pulled from various engineering programs. The work is more catered towards someone with an IT degree and internships are supposed to be long form interviews for open positions at a company. Since there lies this discrepancy, Harman does not retain talent well and most young interns end up at other companies. The internships are lenient and pay well from what I understand.
