What's the work from home policy like at HARMAN International?

What's the internship program like at HARMAN International?
While I was at Harman, I worked in software test. What I noticed is that interns being brought onto the team were pulled from various engineering programs. The work is more catered towards someone with an IT degree and internships are supposed to be long form interviews for open positions at a company. Since there lies this discrepancy, Harman does not retain talent well and most young interns end up at other companies. The internships are lenient and pay well from what I understand.
How helpful was your Engineering team when you were first hired at HARMAN International?
We had a woman (software engineer) quit because she felt the on-boarding was seriously lacking.

Python question. They were incredibly vague and so I answered something simple and sweet.
