I worked at Love's corporate for a year and a half, and every day I went, I just wanted to go right back home. It's definitely a corporate setting, and they try to make the environment better with "events," but it's honestly not worth it.. Also, the work needing to be done was monotonous, so I left.

  • It really depends on where you're at at my location I was the only African-American in the whole department and as well the only female and most of the love that I have been in are not well diverse unless they are in a well diverse community however most or not they are in the middle of nowhere off of the highway and a little bitty hicktown however you will find our competitors in the heart of a little city called South Bay Florida which is predominantly African-Americans Hispanics Haitians and Jamaicans like I said it's all about where you are at I know the ones that I've been in even when I travel have been more diverse than where I'm at

  • I would personally implement proper training with EEOC and harassment and discrimination because of the location of love and the fact that diversity is truly a factor and let's be honest there are still people who believe in the old ways and they don't know how to migrate over to a world where we are all equal customer service skills need to be given it needs to actually be a class because dealing with irate customers and dealing with difficult situations at the job I've noticed a lot of the people reflect their personal feelings on the customers as well as the employees there's a time and the place for everything and some things are not appropriate to be discussed at the workplace management needs to know that what goes on in management stays in management there should not be jokes about disciplinary actions to other employees from management it's all about principal you got to honestly get to know the people to put the right person in the right place to do the right job the right way

  • People in this company are afraid to stand up and speak up because honestly in the economy we live in people really need their jobs right now they're barely holding on trying to recover from the losses during covid however what loves could improve on is actually taking the time out to properly train each of its employees bring diversity into the company give proper training EEOC training should be given to management and staff take the time out to not just promise to help that person blossom in the company and be a success but to actually take accountability and put forth the effort into making management do their jobs because people like me who really do love what they do go to work and it's not a job it's just another day it's not stressful when you love what you do but when you have hostile work environments and people that are untrained and not so confident not because they can't do the job but because they have not been properly trained for the job

  • I love the love store I love what it stands for however every person that is employed by loves doesn't share the same hearts and the same Love for the opportunity to be able to be a part of such a great family that was built on something that was strong enough to give it a solid foundation for the future of this company love is really a great place to work I can honestly say that however just like every other place it needs a little work the people who work for loves are not the people who started this company however they are there they are not in the field to see the great people that they have to be able to tap in and to utilize the best qualities of them to be able to lead them to be successful beyond what they could have imagined being in this company sometimes people need to put aside the monetary value that is gained by a person being there and see the loss of ethics and morals and love that is being drained from the name Love's Travel stop and what it stands for
