  • Ask lots of questions and take notes on everything. One of the challenges you'll find is that we are constantly changing and you'll encounter a lot of written processes that haven't caught up yet with how we are actually running things. If you are confused, don't be afraid to ask for help. It wont look bad on you at all.

  • Layoffs are handled gracefully. In fact, no one has ever been laid off. If someone is not a good fit, management lets them know and supports them as they find their next opportunity. In the only instance of this that I've witnessed, management let an employee work part-time, remotely, for almost three months while they transitioned to a different position elsewhere.

  • There's a lot of potential for career growth here. Not in the traditional sense, in that the next steps are laid out for you, but rather in that we have the opportunity to grow our positions as the business scales up. If you find an area of expertise that you want to expand into something even more robust, you can literally create your own position (as long as you've put some serious thought and planning into it).
