There was nothing techincal about the interview process. People seemed nice. But the wait was excessive. No relocation.
My manager is completely hands off and the person above generally knows what my role is. Projects can move forward without mgt hold up.
Most people will not see a promotion unless it is demanded. The best people leave because they are under valued. Knowledge or work ethic has nothing to do with compensation. A promotion would mean better benefits like bonuses or 401k payouts. Cost of living doubling in CO is ignored in reviews.
It used to be completing a big project until those least involved were the only ones celebrated. It will be leaving when the economy is better since there is no future here. I work for money but am undervalued compared to industry peers. Those before me left because of the same interview deception.
People who do the same job for years and aquire no knowledge or training are rewarded for loyalty to management, instead of growing to better the brand. Since it is hard to replace people, those who excel in an area are not developed. Only people with minor mgt training move up and add no value.
