Open door policy and communication.
The transparency and honesty that is relayed.
They communicate revenues and strategy clearly
Leaders are great examples and always go above and beyond.
They are invested in my growth here at Verisys
The leadership team should focus on improving workforce planning and resource management. Constant shifts between layoffs and forced overtime create instability, and burnout. Replacing employees when they leave and addressing turnover caused by poor management would create a healthier environment.
Following what the people tell them and letting them be in on some of the descisions since we do the work. Things are not done near as efficient as they can be but we are shunned consistently when we tell them how to make things better. Everyone seems to be afraid of their boss and their boss etc.
Understanding pain points of employees, communication, follow-through, planning, consistency, responsibility, reliability, etc.
For the work that needs to be done and the skills required the pay is far below average, especially for the place of living.
FAIRNESS. THEY ARE SALARY EMPLOYEES THUS CHANGE AND "COMPANY NEEDS' DO NOT EFFECT THEIR PAY. MOVING EMPLOYEES AROUND AND LOSING MONEY IN BONUSES IS NOT ONLY NOT FAIR BUT ALSO SPEAKS VOLUMES OF THE VALUE OF THE EMPLOYEE
Costs are fairly low for associates.
Rightway is very helpful with finding providers and helping with bills
Paid fairly, generous PTO and benefits are affordable
I love our amazing benefits. We even get 2,000 a year towards our HSA which helps so much throughout the year.
Opportunity for annual reviews and bonuses
Because of the low pay.
Our base pay is not keeping up with inflation, so bonuses become necessary to make a living wage. Raising wages to a livable level will make me feel more valued. It would also make me want to work harder for a company that cares about me. As it used to feel.
I think this is a matter that is often at question because the job that we do and the attention that I put towards my position, I would like to be able to live more comfortably with my wages if it were to be increased. However, this may be the Flexibility at this job is unmatched.
I recently lost a half my bonus due to a late file. As much as I understand the importance of not having a late file, having a late file over the 4 years I have worked here has been a rare occurence. Losing half my bonus unfortunately made me feel like the hard work I do isnt valued much.
The bonus structure is meant for those who get lucky and don't match the success of the team or individual.
I believe we have a Supportive team
Collaborating with intelligent people with the same goals.
The team is fun and meets weekly
Collaborative, invested in our work, have common goals.
We are super collaborative and always willing to jump in
Just need to stop being so snarky all of the time.
The majority of coworkers also feel burnt out and spread thin, so any interaction in the department feels exhausting and like extra work. Morale is in the negative and collaborating or communicating would feel a lot better if work conditions improved.
The rating for prev question were based on 1 guy. Other team mates are good. One co-worker with like 8,9 experience in coding have coding skills of a fresher. The interview process should have been better and he shouldn't have been hired. He can't even understand if else after 30 mins of explanation
More inclusive and less judgemental.
I think this company needs to do an assessment test before hiring people that can barely put a sentence together or who cannot even pronounce Illinois.
The company does like to give praise and recognition at times.
The remote aspect is nice.
There's a lot of parents here, so we get to share our struggles and good moments with everyone
Everyone is encouraged to show up as themselves
We all work together and take care of each other. Providing a Humane work environment.
More cross training and less favoritism
We no longer have time set aside for team building activities. Now it's just a constant unending grind of data with no breaks and no attempts to get to know the team we're working with. People feel like anonymous bubbles in google chat now and not people.
Get rid of all the greedy, uncaring, rude, unempathetic, egotistical, management.
The higher-ups really need to listen and consider what the hard-working employees are saying. Most of us have immense struggles with the compensation, but leadership does not seem to care.
This companys culture is extremely uncomfortable due to the daily micromanagement, a leadership team that is dishonest and misleading in their communications with employees, and a corporate attitude that everyone is expendable.
I love interviewing. We often have great internal opportunities and it is excellent to show what you are interested in and get to know people even better. My company always strives to provide feedback as well which can be extremely helpful.
Less being passed between people during the interview process, and less phone calls/meetings that contain the same information that you have to give to several different people.
Happy I have a job and able to work from home.
When the job gets completed and I'm challenged.
That I'm not micromanaged by anyone
Cowrokers, great environment, reasonable workload
I love working with my team and over coming challenges together.
Base pay isn't a livable wage, rising bonus targets and forced overtime increases burnout. Constant turnover isn't addressed and micromanagement hurts morale. Improve staffing, trust employees, and provide fair pay so we can focus on doing great work.
Better pay and ways to advance. Everyone knows someone gets the chance and it isn't based on the individual.
Low wages, abysmal staffing & coverage, insufficient training, unreliable leadership, poor communication, inconsistent work processes and workload, etc. The work we do feels redundant and inconsistent. Volume of work is consistently increasing with no adjustments made for efficiency or staffing.
Would be great if we were paid more with the increased volume of work, knowledge we need to have, juggling multiple websites and information. Everything is getting more expensive and most are barely scarping by paycheck to paycheck.
Low morale because of low pay and secretive behavior.
