CA has provided me the height of my professional and personal development. It has benefitted me personally, because its systems are set up to do so (I am white and cis-gender). Right now CA is hurting and I hope I can keep contributing to its healing in a productive way.
My team, working with candidates, and learning from everyone.
Everyone is interested in the wellbeing of our teachers and students we serve.
It's clear that their hearts are in the right place. I understand their intent.
It is competitive with the market and amply provides benefits to cover my circumstances.
I work with a team of highly skilled, invested, and engaged individuals who inspire me to be great.
They are open to feedback, and when feedback is delivered they take it seriously. As well, our leadership team is highly mission-driven.
I am most excited to engage with my team, even in the virtual space. Getting the chance to work with my team of professionals is what makes work the most exciting.
There is always something new to learn, and always another way to adapt to meet the needs of the students and teachers we serve. Everyone I meet is invested in that mission.
I appreciate that I have full coverage for medical, dental, and vision. There are many perks within that folks don't often take advantage of (e.g., reimbursement for monthly gym). I appreciate PTO accrual and floating holidays.
My team is the best team at CA. They are some of the most skilled and compassionate people I've ever met. I learn from them every day, and can bring anything to them - they're allies in my corner, and in each others'. We have each others' backs.
