The ground workers and floor level managers care about each other and the product leaving the door but the executives seem to only care about the bottom line. Trainings and discussions on how to move Flowserve into the future need to happen.

The fact that the company is asking my opinion right now shows its genuine interest in the individuals working there. However, it would be nice for some changes to be taken place by this survey but I doubt it.

Reinvesting back into the company such as new equipment to allow for technicians to be able to better machine, assemble, disassemble and produce results in a safer/efficient manner. In the nuclear industry you cannot quantify profit in a time span of 3 years time as the time table is in decades.

Flowserve is operating on a lean mindset without proper implementation. One can remove positions, but there needs to be a clear delineation in training and acquisition of replacements prior to losing an integral worker. 2 people need to be trained to do the same task in case 1 person is unavailable

The pension plan is what drew my to being hired with the Flowserve team. However, metrics needs to be posted for clear years of employment to pension payout ratio for future planning. I asked HR for this and was told I have to contact T-Rowe Price directly. It seems this info is hidden purposely.
