Flowserve is operating on a lean mindset without proper implementation. One can remove positions, but there needs to be a clear delineation in training and acquisition of replacements prior to losing an integral worker. 2 people need to be trained to do the same task in case 1 person is unavailable

The on boarding process seems broken, not through any one individual or department's function. It is more of a large loss of knowledge in a short time that was never collected and institutionalized. recreating that will be challenging, avoiding the mistake with a reduced headcount, not good.
