Since joining Karyopharm a little over a year ago, I have hit the ground running at building out and improving their social media strategy and presence. It has been very exciting to see Karyopharm take off into the digitial world and it has been great to see the online community interact.

Karyopharm is doing it all. There is no task that is too big for this nimble company. We get it done with half the resources some of our competitiors have. This type of drive, determination, and dedication to the patient is why I joined Karyopharm.

Many biotech companies can claim or say they are a "Patient-Centric" organization. But here I truly feel it.

PATIENT CENTRICITY! And the fact the Karyopharm is such a go-getting company. We are doing so much good work with a limited amount of employees and resources.

Corporate communications is a tight nit team where everyone knows their roles, however we feed off each other and help each other to deliver the best outcome for our stakeholders.

Since I am on a small team we work super well and effiecient togehter. My memeber are always willing to help or pick up a project of mine and vice versa.

How open the team is to feedback. They want to know how to be better, they want to take the employees ideas or concerens into consideration. They collect feedback from employees.

The leadership team is very receptive to new and different strategies. If one solution isnt working, employees are able to step in and provide an alternative and even run that alternative solution.

What I like best about our team is that we get to be creative when it comes to content. We build corporate communications content that can be enjoyed by employees, our followers, investors, and patients.

I love good brainstorming session. When ideas are flowing and we come out of the meeting with acceptable action items and a strategic plan in place. Satisfying to know that the project is getting started on a good note.

The leadership team is great at executing ideas/suggestions that may come from any employee. For example, when sales rep brought up providing PPE to patients and employees, within two weeks I had received a package of PPE at my front door.

For me, it was great to see the amount of Health insurance plans KPT offered. It wasn't a "everyone has to fit in one type of box" plan. Also the resources they provide (online counseling) is a great addition. Also nice to see 4 weeks PTO where most companies are 3.
