Unless someone leaves, there are no promotions. About half of the people there have had the same position/rank for 10+ years. They other half have not been there 10 years yet.

MCHP makes a point of paying the absolute minimum. Most people only stick around long enough to realize they will never get a raise.

Meetings are just terrible. No plan, no schedule, just a projector and some guy who did not prepare.... That is what they call a meeting.
