  • Once a year - it is called a "merit", but there is no pay for performance here - it is an across the board increase. If you get a "promotion" - be ready for 5%. Meanwhile they will bring in people with less experience making more than you. Don't forget the company made $3 BILLION in profits in 2021 - yet they can't do anything about the revolving door of turnover.

  • There is not much mobility at Vishay. The company's products are cutting edge, but the administrative systems and processes are outdated and ineffective. Human Resources is what you think in parodies - pizza parties and a decorated bulletin board. You will not have a career path at Vishay.

  • Poor. They don't prepare well for interns, so they usually end up sitting around all summer not doing much.

  • Poorly. I spoke with them about a sexual harassment incident (inappropriate comment from a male co-worker) and nothing came of it. There were no witnesses (that came forward), so it was "my word against his"

  • For most supervisors, you have to keep after them for raises. Usually it's just the standard cost of living bump. Bargain hard for a good starting wage. Most positions have been open for a while, so you can push and HR will still make you an offer.
