Transparency and actually participating in the work of the company. Also the leadership team should hold itself to the same standards as the rest of the company. In short, DO SOMETHING, know the business, and at least pretend to be engaged.

Pay is below standard for my role at the company compared to similar roles in the city. With raises caped at a low amount and only available once a year, it's hard to keep up with wages at other similar employers.
