Culture does not support impact driven , highly skilled employees but rewards mediocrity . The company it self does not have goals or any semblance of kpi’s and measures to monitor . Execution and talent is limited in many organizations . There is a lot of branding and feel good even

It's good. No one questions needing to take time off for family items.

2 weeks PTO, we also have week of July4th off (forced PTO) and week from xmas-new years off (holiday). Every 4 years you get a 6wk paid sabbatical.
Lower than normal for the bay
2 weeks vacation. 6 week paid sabbatical every 4 years.

How many women are in your team? is it diverse enough?

Depends on your department, but generally we have a fairly healthy ratio of women to men - most engineering teams I've seen have at least 1 female engineer per 3-4 males. I think Autodesk is one of the more diverse companies out there, we have a lot of groups (Pride at Autodesk, Autodesk Black Network, Women at Autodesk, Latinos at Autodesk, etc)
There are a lot of women in Autodesk and on my team. One thing that can be said about Autodesk, is that it has a wonderfully diverse population.
4 out of 11 members are women. Very racially diverse.
what's your workflow? agile? waterfall?

It depends on the team - if you are on a product team (meaning a team that works on any of the software), likely it will be agile and you will be working very closely with your project team. In other parts of the company, such as anything business side (marketing, biz ops, etc) it will more likely be waterfall.
Both and it depends on the department in which you work. Autodesk claims to follow an agile methodology, but it is mostly waterfall.

Shifting to a data centered business is growing the fastest and yet some the old folks are having a hard time keeping up and understanding the new technology.

Very. It's quite rare.
In Consulting, it is very difficult to get a promotion, very rare, especially as a project manager, almost non-existent
How much of your day is spent in meetings? How valuable do you feel they are?

Most of the day. Autodesk has a very bad meeting culture, with meetings offering very little value to one's work. "Death by meetings" is the running joke in Autodesk. Most meetings are also at very odd hours because it's a global company. Often times the meetings are either 1) unnecessary 2) could be automated--such as having a Slack standup, or 3) recorded and shared with those that can't attend, however, the lack of innovation in this area is a serious issue company-wide.
25% to 100% on any day, and average around 50%. They are not always valuable, perhaps a small portion of the time.

We're undergoing a transformation to ensure diversity/inclusivity
Fun at first, then exhausting and repetitive with what seems to be very little job or career growth.

Works well together. Open to all ideas and opinions. Respectful.
People are always open to new ideas. I learn something from my colleagues every day.
How do the current devs on the team act towards new developers that join?
Unfortunately, with new developers, there is often little training or assistance. You're simply "expected" to know what to do. Those that speak up and ask questions (especially women devs) are put down or made to feel inferior, despite the gender diversity.
