I'm underpaid. Most of us are. It's a lot worse if you're a woman.
We need solid goals and managers who know how to put words into action.
We need honesty and openness. People need to be trained in basic skills and expected to perform.
They need to take care of problems when they come up instead of pointing fingers and looking for scapegoats.
The public can tell when people don't care about their job. Some of my coworkers are great, but it doesn't take that many bad apples to really ruin the experience.
